Our Process

We use a three step process to clean wall to wall carpets and area rugs.

1. Spray

2. Buff

3. Vacuum

1. First Step is to spray our proprietary solution which we get in a concentrated form. We then dilute our selves. The solution we use is the extract that comes from lemon, orange, and grapefruit peels. The active ingredient is D-Limonene which can be found in all citrus based cleaners. This makes a great cleaning alternative to soap that contains phosphates witch turn dark and brown over time. Our solution is a solvent that works as a natural degreaser and is constantly repealing dirt from your carpets after applying.

2. Second Step we use a floor buffer with a micro fiber pad on the bottom to scrub and lift dirt from your carpets. For area rugs and stairs we use a orbiter with a cotton pad on the bottom for a gentler clean. Our goal is to scrub and clean the top fibers of carpets and area rugs. This means we don’t go down to the carpet pad underneath which can cause water damage especially if gone to the sub floor. This is how we are able to have quick drying times down to 2-3 hours.

3. Third Step we go back with a hospital grade vacuum picking up all the dirt that was pulled from the carpets and area rugs.

What is D-Limonene?

It is a major component extracted from citrus rinds.  The rinds and pulp are sent to an evaporator and the D-Limonene is steamed out.  It widely known for it’s pleasant scent and degreasing properties.  D-Limonene is currently being used in many applications such as hand cleaners.

The environmentally safe solvent, D-Limonene  is extracted from natural resources (i.e. orange, and lemon peels).   The solvent does not add any materials into the environment than what would not occur naturally.  Therefore, it does not contain any ozone depleting chemicals.  Using naturally derived solvents such as cleaning agents, is an excellent source of ozone reduction.  D-Limonene is biodegradable too, an important issue to water treatment plants and everyone who drinks water.
